タイ→フィリピン→インドネシアとリレーのように行われるレズビアン・バイセクシュアル女性・FtMトランスジェンダーのためのイベント、“Our Sexualities, Our Genders, Our Bodies ~ Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender RIGHTS!”、その３カ国で連続でジョグジャカルタ原則の公布式が行われるという、YyPウォッチング的には見逃せないイベントです。

そうです、フィリピンのイベントは、昨日の2008年マニラ・プライドだったんですね！情報遅過ぎ！
プロモーション・フィルムもステキです。
さて、肝心のジョグジャカルタ原則公布式ですが、フィリピンのLGBT団体Ang Ladlad - The National Organization of Filipino Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals and Transgenders (LGBT)によって開催されたそうです。

Ang Ladlad launches the Yogyakarta Principles in the 2008 Manila Pride March
Ang Ladlad, the national organization of LGBT Filipinos committed to a vision of society free from gender-based oppression, prejudice, discrimination and stereotyping, together with the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) will launch the Yogyakarta Principles at the 2008 Manila Pride March on 6 December 2008.
The Yogyakarta Principles are an application of international human rights standards to issues concerning sexual orientation and gender identity. They were put together by a distinguished group of human rights experts who met at in November 2006 at Yogyakarta, Indonesia and have since been introduced formally to the United Nations (UN) system, translated into the six official UN languages and launched in several countries.
The launch of the Yogyakarta Principles in Manila is part of Ang Ladlad’s response to IGLHRC’s 16 Days of Activism campaign to end violence against Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (LBT) women. Ang Ladlad along with other groups in Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, China and India will launch the Yogyakarta Principles in their respective countries, take part in the creation of a banner consisting of panels of fabric representing Asian LBT activism and join a gathering of LGBT activist and groups in Yogyakarta, Indonesia for the 60th anniversary celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
